Muscle car pillows

Long hood, short deck, cut to the outline and printed both sides. Take the ready-made shape, or send a photo of the car in your own garage.

Placeholder artwork. This shape has not been photographed or cut out yet, so the card above shows a stand-in silhouette rather than the pillow you would receive. The name, the sizes and the price are real; the picture is not.

How big should a car pillow be?

A coupe from the side is about three times as long as it is tall, so a 22 in pillow is about seven inches high and a 26 in is about nine. Most people who want it to read as a car from across a room pick 22 in or larger.

What photo of a car works best?

A three-quarter front, taken from about waist height, in flat daylight. Get the whole car in frame with clear space around it. Avoid a low sun behind the car, which throws the front into shadow and softens the cut-out.

Will the wheels and grille show up?

Yes, in the print. They are not pressed into the cushion, though: the shading comes from the outline alone, so the pillow stays a smooth plush shape with the car printed on it rather than an embossed model of one.
